All components are incorporated in two ruggedized transportable case-containers rather small in size. With one of the cases, containing a notebook, a fingerprint scanner and a camera, you can create high-quality electronic tenprint cards and quickly and accurately verify the identity of subjects on the spot. Using the facilities from another, smaller, container, you can easily print out any information.
Both stations are adapted for efficient operation in any vehicle – they can be powered with car accumulators through a voltage converter or with car on-board power system. If no external power source available, the equipment can operate being energized from the batteries.
No fingerprint knowledge is needed to operate both of the MKDS stations.
Communication with the AFIS for data transmission and search initiation can be provided through:
- Secure cellular channels enabling GSM/GPRS/EDGE communication between allocated IP-addresses
- Any communication channel enabling IP connection
- Local area network (LAN)
